#RESIST - Student Activism @ DU

DU Native Student Alliance (NSA) launched their No More Pios campaign on October 9, 2017 to create conversation and action to change the offensive and oppressive DU mascot, the Pioneers. Students protested thorughout the year at different events and on social media using the hashtag #NoMorePios.  

Several protests were at DU hockey games, which have high attendance and attention from alumni, community members and the media.
