High-resolution, large scale assemblage prints created from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s extinct bird collection lined the walls of the reading area on the upper level. Weaver placed prints of the Eskimo Curlew, Carolina Parakeet, and Imperial Woodpecker between the library’s large windows in order to integrate them with the campus’ visual space.

The juxtaposition of these extinct species against the University of Denver's vibrant outdoor landscape heightens the dichotomy between the natural world as it once existed and how we experience it today.
