Art of the Abecedarium

This artist book by the students in Intro. to Letterpress, Fall 2009, Otis Laboratory Press, Rebecca Chamlee, instructor. Pages were also contributed by Rebecca Chamlee and Otis Lab Press manager Linda Dare.

Each student was responsible for a letter of the alphabet and charged with determining content and design to produce a 12 x 9" printed sheet, which was folded to produce four pages. The students explored four difference letterpress printing processes: handset metal and wood type, photo polymer plates and linoleum engravings.
